2017 default coverage
“Default coverage” is the coverage that will be automatically assigned to you if you don’t enroll in medical benefits. If you live anywhere other than Hawaii, your default is No Coverage if you don’t currently have medical coverage through Dell and you don’t enroll. If you live in Hawaii, your default is coverage in the Kaiser Permanente HI POS plan unless you complete and return an HC-5 form, from the State of Hawaii website, to waive coverage. Note: You have 31 days after life events, such as having a baby or getting married, to make changes to your benefits and provide the required documentation. If you do not enroll your new dependent within 31 days, you will have to wait until the next Annual Enrollment or another life event. To add dependents or make other changes, go to Your Benefits Resources™ (YBR) website (@ Work | Log in ).
